Conductivity redefined. GAIA’s silver-threaded webbing integrates a triple-plated copper forefoot connection, seamlessly joined to silver-coated thread running the length of the strap. Multimeter-verified, this design maintains continuous conductivity, delivering the same charge-balancing effects as barefoot contact with the Earth.
Minimalist fit system. The tie-down design offers two strapping alternatives, secured by a stainless steel buckle and secondary gunmetal anchor. The result: a customizable fit that allows your feet to move naturally while staying electrically connected.

The Story of GAIA
In Greek mythology, Gaia, or Gaea, was the primordial goddess and the personification of the Earth. Gaia can be translated to mean ‘land’ or ‘earth’.
GAIA took root in April 2020, during a time when the world slowed down and many of us reevaluated what truly mattered. For me, that was grounding—a practice that remains unfamiliar to the masses but has been deeply ingrained in my life.
Growing up in the rich Native American traditions of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe, I was raised with the understanding that the earth is not just ground beneath our feet—it is sacred, healing, and alive. The idea that simply standing barefoot on the earth could produce profound physiological changes might seem far-fetched. But is it? Modern research is now catching up, revealing how the Earth's electrical charge influences our bioelectrical state, blood viscosity, mood, and sleep quality. The evidence is too compelling to ignore.
Yet, despite this knowledge, we live in a world where we are constantly insulated—from the Earth, from nature, and from the very forces that help regulate our bodies.

I set up shop in my basement and started crafting GAIA sandals for others, knowing they could solve two major problems in modern footwear:
